Hideaway Studio - Monopolyphon ix (KONTAKT) - Full Version

Description
Monopolyphonix is in many ways a celebration of another successful resurrection of the old classics. The Farfisa Syntorchestra comes from a strange era of fairly early affordable portable synthesizers in history, where manufacturers were rather experimental and tended to do their thing in their own way. The end result is that weird and wacky user interfaces and synth architectures were quite the norm in those days! What Syntorchestra does is rather unusual in that it has a polyphonic section functioning in complete isolation from the main monophonic section, and each of which produces the same timbres. This is completely different from, for example, the ARP Omni sections. The result is a rather strange combination of the characteristics of the polyphonic tones with stepwise interaction with the pitch shifting of the monophonic tones. With an elaborate front panel with settings, two sections can be combined for surprisingly powerful sound. It also boasts one of the warmest analog synthesized pianos you'll ever hear. It's a very simple sound, but it actually gets pretty pretty when it goes through the reverb. All samples are taken from the refurbished 1974 Farfisa Syntorchestra.
