Description
Arturia has released a new virtual synthesizer, which is an emulation of the classic digital-analog instrument Ensoniq SQ-80. The synthesizer interface mimics the look of the original Ensoniq SQ-80 from the 1980s. In 1989 Ensoniq closed production of the instrument despite its popularity. Some of the most active users of the synthesizer were director John Carpenter and Assyrian producer Aryl Brakha. The SQ80 V is a revived classic Ensoniq cross-wave synthesizer from the 80s, combining a hybrid lo-fi character, complex textures and thousands of unique waveform combinations into a fast-response software synthesizer enhanced for modern production.
