Orchestral Tools - TIME micro (KONTAKT)

Chamber ensembles and soloists TIME micro is your creative resource for atmospheric and rhythmic accentuation, targeted at small groups of instruments and soloists - for example, strings chamber-sized sections and small vocal groups of no more than three singers. Instead of standard instruments, users often find lower or softer alternatives: a basset horn instead of a clarinet, a flugelhorn / cornet instead of a trumpet, and an alto / bass flute instead of a standard flute. In addition to an inspiring string quartet recorded in unison and a low bass section, TIME micro expands your sound palette with shimmering tones of celesta, harp and mandolin. Not to mention experimental and unusual articulations - from airy shades of woodwind, harmonic waves and colors to stuttering staccato performances and barely audible super-soft string bows. Unique Colors and Textures - Just a multitude of subtle touches to expand your set of orchestral inspiration with unique intimate texture colors. Unstable tones- The feeling of time shifting given by TIME micro and its name can be explained by elusive forward movements within looped stable textures, as well as "swinging a pendulum", which recreates the oscillating movements of a pendulum in the form of dynamic swell inside these patches. Rhythmic patterns that conjure up the sounds of clockwork played on the same pitch or in the form of non-tonal percussion notes. Timeless Recordings - As with the TIME macro, Metropolis and Berlin Series collections, all of the orchestra's samples were recorded using the highest microphone setting on the legendary Teldex Scoring stage. Great acoustics, perfect for acoustic sampling, this uniquely balanced room also has some of the finest microphones of the past fifty years.
