God Mode uses push-pull technology inspired by the legendary Pultec analogue passive tube equalizer from the 50s, widely used in the 70s / 80s for broadcast and mixing applications. The Pultec EQ “inserts” gain for a specific frequency range into its tube circuit and then “pulls” it back in order to smooth out the frequency response. This creates a sound close to the original, but with a pleasant warmth added to the boosted frequency ranges. God Mode presents a modern version of this technique. Seal. Add drive.
