Description
Space Station UM282 is a faithful imitation of the Space Station SST-282, an echo and reverb device from the early 80s. Unlike other reverb devices of the era, Space Station used delay techniques to convert a mono signal into a new stereo reverb signal. Where the traditional delay blocks of the past had only one or two taps, Space Station has plenty of them: 8 taps are used for listening and the rest are used for reverb synthesis. That's why Space Station has been the secret weapon of many producers and engineers over the years.
